Earlier today while on twitter, NBC’s MeetThePress account rudely shoved Donald Trump’s face right in front of me while I was in the middle of my lunch.
Actually, that’s not true because I wasn’t eating when it happened, but it resulted in thoughts that can only come from a person who used to watch that show every week and really, look forward to it.
We’ve got no choice but to be trolled by trump and so we should all remember way back at the beginning of his campaign, he got pissed off at the network because they refused to renew his reality show The Apprentice, as a result of a chain reaction caused by a falling out, between him and NBC subsidiary Univision, over his bigoted remarks against Mexican people.
Funny that he renewed that relationship with that network and others he was feuding with, and making appearances on Meet The Press almost weekly.
Like seriously, he’s on there at least a few times a month, which is half the time the show is on.
Never mind how terrible the round table format is for this thing, obviously Chuck Todd won’t or can’t put his foot down to try to find more interesting news to cover, because there’s plenty out there.
No instead, he has to give up time for Trump as if he’s really the only thing happening and every week, trying to squeeze out more updates.
I was following Meet The Press on twitter, and it’s just as easy to just unfollow the account. But this is NBC we’re talking about here. Supporter of the biggest troll, not only in America but also, all over the world.
Do what’s right and #BlockThePress
